Vision/Mission
Guard Your Heart Ministries is a family ministry founded by
Pastor Samuel Munoz Jr., a Christian living with AIDS, and his loving wife
Maria Munoz who is not HIV/AIDS positive. Pastor Samuel Munoz Jr. is a Licensed
Pastor dedicated to bring help and encouragement to those struggling with and
whose lives have been impacted by sexual sin and issues of the heart through
our testimonies of personal and spiritual restoration. We are being obedient to
God's call to serve Him and to share the Hope, Grace and Gospel of our Lord
Jesus Christ to all. Our family fellowships at

working through our lives. We understand that sexual sin is an issue that has a
stronghold on many lives and we know through personal experience that the grace
Jesus demonstrated towards us is the key to breaking this stronghold and the
answer to break free from this sin.
This ministry is available to share its testimonies through the doors God opens
for us to be heard. Guard Your Heart Ministry will never disclose anyone's
information personally shared and will ensure the strictest confidentiality. We
have a loving heart dedicated to bring help and encouragement to those
struggling with sexual sin and people with HIV/AIDS, their families, friends,
and caregivers. Our primary goal is to provide a sense of trust and
confidentiality with the individuals and to share the Gospel of our Lord Jesus
Christ.

What We Do
This ministry will attempt to address the issue of sexual sins and prevent the spread of HIV/AIDS and STDs via a Christian based message for the Church. Guarding one's heart is the central theme and message of the ministry. Our objective is to reach as many people possible through the following:
- our testimony given among the various Christian denominations via church visits
- hospital and home visits
- conducting seminars/workshops, T.V., radio and newspaper media outreaches
- school visits
- youth rallies
- attending conventions, conferences and seminars
- providing prayer and
emotional support on a personal level
- Men’s and Women’s and Youth
groups

This ministry is a traveling ministry on wheels. It visits churches, conventions, conferences, hospitals, hospices, homes, Men/Women and Youth groups throughout the New York Tri-State area. This ministry is seeking God's strength to continue to carry on His work. Pastor Sam is disabled and suffers with numerous health conditions. We need faithful prayers for good health for Pastor Sam as he reaches out to those who need him. The ministry is also seeking prayer to be able to continue to meet the financial costs of travel associated with the ministry. Continue to pray that God will provide for the finances the ministry needs for copying, purchasing of books, materials and mailings which Pastor Sam does with his own money. Guard Your Heart Ministries does not receive any monies for the work we do and can not provide financial assistance. The ministry can steer individuals to Federal/State agencies as well as Churches that can provide help with various needs through the contacts and information we gathered over the past few years.
